SEVEN DAY INSIDE PASSAGE TREK
Southeast Alaska is a wonderland filled with glaciers, thick forests, thousands of miles of sea shore, bears, whales, seal lions and hundreds of quiet, hidden fishing towns.
Highlights include the tidewater glaciers of Prince William Sound, the massive ice fields, mountains and lonely beaches along the Gulf of Alaska coast, Glacier Bay National Park, bears and other rainforest wildlife and the ocean’s rich marine life.
Man has long attempted to tap this wild and rich region and history abounds: evidence of gold rushes, long forgotten defenses of World War II, ship wrecks, hidden fishing villages over 100 years old, hot springs, historic Sitka and Petersburg and their Russian colonial roots. You will see firsthand the region’s vibrant Native American culture. Seafood lovers will enjoy the bounty of the sea in the area cuisine and all will thrill at the accommodations found at quaint inns, lodges and B&B’s.
