Tim Gossett: Director of Operations/Chief Pilot/Guide
Tim began his flying career as a baby flying with his mother Lori, founder of Sky Trekking Alaska in 1992, to all corners of Alaska. He was born and raised in Alaska and attended college in Washington state to obtain his Commercial/Instrument pilot certificates as well as Airframe & Power plant licenses. Tim has flown statewide in Alaska, Canada, the US west coast states and in 2009 piloted from Alaska to Medellin, Columbia SA. He has been employed as a commercial 135 Air Carrier pilot since 2008. In 2010 and 2012, Tim was employed by Talkeetna Air Taxi, a business primarily servicing the Mt. Mckinley climbers and tourists visiting the glaciers in Denali National Park. You could say “Flying is in his blood”!
In 2010 Tim joined in the family business Sky Trekking Alaska, LLC and in 2012 joined his mom in the new venture of owning and running the C Air charter operation in King Salmon along with Sky Trekking Alaska. Tim has logged over 3000 hours flight time as pilot in command and now is the Chief Pilot for C Air and Sky Trekking Alaska. He undergoes flight proficiency testing, conducted by a Federal Aviation Administration Examiner, at least twice each year.
Upon the passing of Tim’s mom in November of 2013, he became the soul owner of both C Air and Sky Trekking Alaska. With a deeply ingrained desire to fly small planes, explore remote places and share his adventures, Tim continues his mom’s legacy of adventuring in God’s Grand Alaska through charters and sky treks! Tim looks forward to conducting your adventure!
